RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines soccer team faced off with MSU Billings on Wednesday night. After a delay due to air quality, the Hardrockers fell.
In the first half the two teams, battled back and forth, with MSU Billings grabbing the only goal on a misplay by the Hardrockers.
Early in the second half, the Hardrockers became a bit more aggressive, but eventually it would falter as MSU Billings added a goal in the 65
th and moments later in the 67
th minute to grab a 3-0 lead that they would hold onto.
Next up for the Hardrockers is a Sunday morning matchup against Texas A&M International at home at 11:00 a.m.
