RAPID CITY, S.D. --- On Friday, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference will hold its annual RMAC Football Kickoff.
After being virtual last year and being canceled in 2021, the event returns in-person at the Hyatt Regency in the Denver Tech Center.
Each of the RMAC's 10 football programs will participate in a 30-minute media session that is open to the media, beginning at 9:00 a.m. MT inside the Wind River 1 room.
South Dakota Mines' block of time will begin at noon. Head coach
Charlie Flohr will be present alongside student-athletes,
Connor Smith and
Casey Knutsen. Media members will be able to conduct 1-on-1 interviews with attending coaches and student-athletes. Coordination for 1-on-1 interviews must be arranged ahead of time with RMAC Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Communications, Zack Chavez, who will also serve as moderator for the event.
Media members unable to attend will be granted access to each press conference through the Zoom Q&A Feature, similar to the previous two years. Media members planning on attending either in-person or virtually should email Zack Chavez ahead of time to register and coordinate appropriate credentials. The broadcast will now be available live for public viewing. You can watch the broadcast live
