KEARNEY, Neb. --- In the final of two last chance meets, the Hardrocker Track & Field teams competed in Kearney, Nebraska, at the Loper Twilights.

With a limited group, the Hardrockers had some success.

Ethan Pitlick finished in eighth in the 400 meter, running a time of 50.37.
Zach Hentschel ran in the 1500m run, and hit a personal best, running 4:05.56.
Aidan Thompson recorded a pair of good finishes, grabbing sixth in the discus throw (45.0 meters) and seventh in the high jump (1.80 meters).
Kevin Osmanski set a PR in the shot put with a mark of 14.46 meters.
Travis Kleinsasser also set a new PR in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 4.80 meters. Kleinsasser along with Pitlick, Thompson and
Eddie Johnson ran a 3:23.77 in the 4x400 relay, finishing third.

Just two women competed for the Hardrockers with Adeline Wiolson running 2:24.17 in the 800, setting a new PR; and
Kamryn Scully in the pole vault where she cleared 3.65 meters to finish in sixth.

The regular competition season is now completed for the track & field teams. If any individuals qualify for nationals, they will compete from 5/25-5/27 at Grand Valley State.
