COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Wednesday morning, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Women's Golf Academic All-Conference teams.

The qualifications to be named to the first team are that the student-athlete must complete two consecutive semesters at the institution, use a season of eligibility, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. For the honor roll selections, the minimum GPA is 3.3.

Rianna Garland was selected as a member of the first team as a chemical engineering major, carrying a 3.547 GPA. The Mesa, Arizona native has been stellar on the course as well. Garland won two individual titles, finished in the top-10 at the RMAC Championships, recorded a second-place finish at the Hardrocker Spring Invite and a top-20 finish at the Samuel Proal Invite. In the career records, you will find Garland's name often.

Lora Ortega, and
Julia Sabetti were selected to the honor roll. Â

Jessalyn Shipp is a biomechanical engineering major who will be going on to complete a graduate degree in physician assistant studies for the next couple of years and was a big piece of the team, playing in a school record of 59 rounds throughout her career.

Lora Ortega is a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering and hails from Alamosa, Colorado. Ortega participated in eight tournaments this season, scoring an average of 83.88 and finishing in the top-10 three times.

Julia Sabetti is a sophomore from Lakeville, Minnesota and played in four tournaments this season, finishing in the top-21 in three of the four.
