VERMILLION, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines track and field teams sent their team to a large meet at the University of South Dakota, competing against over 30 other teams and saw good performances on day 1.

Jaycie Stubbs continued her success, recording two top-20 finishes, meanwhile, freshman
Clare Fischer recorded the #2 mark in school history in the 5000m run, finishing fifth overall. On the men's side,
