RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines track and field teams hosted Black Hills State and Chadron State at the Bauer Open on Friday.

Jaycie Stubbs continued her incredibly successful season, setting another school record, this time in the javelin, throwing 41.96m to break the previous mark by over a meter and coming in first in the event. In addition to her first place finish, the Hardrockers had seven other individual titles from
Henry Fritzler,
Cole Storlie,
Owen Hansmann,
Cody Harrington, Kathy Mathieu,
Abbie Saline, and
Kamryn Scully. Â
In addition to the first-place finishes, the Hardrockers recorded four new top-10 marks, 30 top-3 finishes, and 14 PRs.
