COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Wednesday afternoon, the RMAC announced its men's and women's outdoor track & field preseason polls.
The RMAC preseason track & field coaches' poll is voted on by the league's head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own teams.
In the polls, South Dakota Mines men received 37 votes to place in 11th, while the women received 24 votes to come in the 14th spot.
The Hardrockers had a successful indoor season with an RMAC Champion and six all-conference selections and hope to build upon that momentum.
After a recent schedule change, the teams will begin their seasons on Friday with a meet at CSU Pueblo.
