ALAMEDA, Calif. --- The South Dakota Mines women's golf team finished up the weather-shortened Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout hosted by CSU East Bay on Tuesday.

The tournament was initially scheduled for three rounds but wound up being finalized after the completion of the first round.

As a team the Hardrockers finished up in 15th place, scoring 346 for a +58.
Lora Ortega led the way for the women, carding a +7, 79 with
Annika Schooler, and
Rianna Garland finishing close behind at +10 and +12.
Mya Maxwell and
Summer Christiansen carded matching scores of +29.

The women are off for a few weeks as they aren't scheduled to hit the tee box again until Sunday, March 19th when they participate in the Pack Classic at CSU Pueblo.
