RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines soccer team finished one of its final two games of the regular season on Friday night.
On a cold night, the Hardrockers battled with UCCS in a game that was relatively even. In the first half UCCS attempted 8 shot, while the Hardrockers attempted seven. Neither team went into the locker room with a ton of great chances and the game was scoreless.
Very early in the second half UCCS had a great opportunity and cashed it in when Peter Chang scored off an assist by Kolby Raineri and that was the only goal that was needed in this one as the Mountain Lions escaped with a one goal victory.
