GOLDEN, Colo. --- The South Dakota Mines soccer team finished up their weekend with a road matchup at Colorado School of Mines on Sunday.
Colorado School of Mines got on the board early, scoring in the 25
th and 31
st minutes of the first half, taking a 2-0 lead into the locker room. Despite the lead, the first half was well contested, with South Dakota Mines getting 2 shots on goal and Colorado School of Mines getting 3 and corner kicks in favor of Colorado School of Mines, 5-3.
The second half was a bit of a different story as the Orediggers outshot the Hardrockers 9 (2) – 1 (0) and had five corner kicks to the Hardrockers 0. Colorado School of Mines got two more goals in the second half to come away with a 4-0 victory.

The Hardrockers have a split week this week as they take on CCU on the road on Friday, Oct. 20 and come back home on the 22nd for a 3:00 matchup against Regis.
