Jeremiah Bridges Named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. --- On Monday afternoon, the RMAC selected and announced its' player of the week selections for football.
 
The Hardrockers were represented for the third time this season, with Jeremiah Bridges earning offensive player of the week.
 
Bridges has had a phenomenal start to the season as he has three consecutive 100-plus yard receiving games and at least one touchdown in each contest.
 
On Saturday, he was key in leading the Hardrockers to a victory, catching eight passes for 164 yards and three touchdowns. Two of those receiving touchdowns came in the 17-point fourth quarter that vaulted the Hardrockers to the RMAC opening win over Colorado Mesa. Bridges added two carries for 37 yards.
 
On the season he now has 22 receptions for 462 yards and six touchdowns. Those numbers not only put him near the top of the RMAC leaderboard (2nd, 1st, 1st), but also the National leaderboards where he sits in 11th in receptions and leads the nation at the Division II level in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
 
The Hardrockers are back in action on Saturday as they play in their homecoming game against New Mexico Highlands. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 in that contest.
