Men's Cross Country Josh Van Valkenburg-Gernert

Cross Country & Track and Field Bring in 19 Student-Athletes

RAPID CITY, S.D. --- On Friday afternoon, Director of Cross Country & Track and Field, Joe Stephens has announced his first class at South Dakota School of Mines.
 
"I'm excited by this group of student-athletes," said Stephens. "I want to thank coaches Dan Haakenson and Gillian Urycki for their excellent efforts in bringing this class to our institution. These student-athletes span a wide range of event areas, and I believe them to be a motivated and passionate group about their future as Hardrockers. Our staff and current team welcome this incoming group, as we are dedicated to their future pursuits towards academic and athletic excellence at South Dakota Mines." 
 
The student-athletes listed on this roster have commited to South Dakota Mines. These student-athletes have been approved by the South Dakota Mines compliance office as well as verified by the NCAA and will join the South Dakota Mines cross country & track and field programs for the 2022-23 year.
