RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines soccer team heads home after battling to a draw against St. Cloud State in the second game of the road trip.
The two teams battled through the midfield for much of the first half, before the Hardrockers broke through on a headed ball that fell to
Ransom Hall's foot and he drove it into the back of the net for the first Hardrocker goal of the season.
The Hardrockers maintained that lead for much of the remainder of the game until the 78
th minutes, when St. Cloud State would even it up. From there, both teams would press, with neither getting any great chances. The match would end up in a draw, as the Hardrockers moved to 0-1-1 on the season.
The Hardrockers next matchup is against Dakota Wesleyan on Sept. 1.
