RAPID CITY, S.D. --- -South Dakota Mines Athletics and the Hardrock Club will be broadcasting the Hardrocker Coaches Show every Monday night during the sports season announced recently. The show will be broadcast live from Murphy's Bar and Grill in Rapid City, South Dakota streaming on Facebook Live as well as broadcast on KOTA News 1380 AM. Live attendance and interaction will also be welcomed.
 
"The newest addition to Hardrocker All-Access is a great opportunity for us," said Athletic Communications Coordinator Josh Van Valkenburg-Gernert. "We strive to put out as much content, enhance the student-athlete experience, gain exposure, get into the community, and increase interaction with our fan base. This checks all those boxes and we are excited to continue and grow our partnership with Murphy's and the Black Hills Youth Football."
 
The coaches show will take place in front of a live audience starting at 6:30 p.m. (MT) on the last three Mondays of each month. The first show will debut on August 29th. A rotating schedule of head coaches and student-athletes will be present as well as the announcement of the Hardrocker Athlete of the Week each week. Tom Rudebusch and Richard Anderson will co-host the event with Adam Thomsen and Van Valkenburg-Gernert helping with production.
 
With this announcement, the weekly Hardrocker Coaches' Luncheons held at Pizza Ranch will move to occurring monthly on the first Tuesday of each month.
 
"We felt that was important to continue our luncheons as well," said Hardrocker Athletic Director Joel Lueken. "It is important to honor and continue to interact with the fan base we have developed while continuing to pursue growth and we are thankful to Pizza Ranch, Murphy's Pub & Grill, and Black Hills Youth Football for our partnerships with them."
