COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Monday afternoon, the RMAC announced its' 2022 football preseason poll.
The RMAC preseason football coaches' poll is voted on by the league's 10 head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own teams.
In the poll, South Dakota Mines received a total of 40 points, 6th out of the 10 schools.
In 2021, the Hardrockers finished with a 6-5 overall record.
There wasn't much turnover with just 10 seniors lost to graduation, and the Hardrockers bring back several key players, including All-RMAC selections
Isaiah Eastman,
Gavin Chaddock, and
Kyante Christian among others.
