COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Monday afternoon the RMAC selected its' All-Conference Outdoor Track & Field teams for the 2022 season. 

The South Dakota Mines track and field program had 7 athletes earn awards based on their performances at the RMAC Championships in Pueblo, Colo.  On the women's side, South Dakota Mines had four females earn recognition, with Macy McClure and Jaycie Stubbs earning first team honors. McClure finished in third place in the Hamer Throw, firing it a distance of 51.44m, while Stubbs was able to claim her second consecutive RMAC Championship, throwing the javelin 39.43m to claim the gold and a spot of RMAC All-Conference First Team.
 
Kamryn Scully and Jenna Sayler earned spots on the RMAC All-Conference Second Team for their performances in the 400m hurdles, and the Shot Put respectively. Scully ran a time of 1:03.80, while Sayler threw the shot 12.27 meters.
 
The Hardrocker men had three nominees with Travis Kleinsasser being named to the RMAC All-Conference First Team for his second-place finish in the Decathlon (6,241 points).
 
Earning spots on the RMAC All-Conference Second Team were Aidan Thompson and Tim Dunham for their performances in the decathlon and the 10,000 meter run. Thompson finished fourth in the decathlon (6,111 points) and Dunham finished in fifth in the 10K, running it in a time of 31:15.81.
