PUEBLO, Colo. --- The South Dakota Mines track and field teams finished up day 2 of the RMAC Championships on Saturday.

The Hardrockers received all-conference performances from
Travis Kleinsasser and
Aidan Thompson, meanwhile
Adam Namyst and
Taegen Wells performed well enough to qualify for the finals in their events.
Â
Kleinsasser set a new school record in the Decathlon, scoring 6,241 points on his way to second place in the event and a spot as a first team all-conference member.

Thompson wasn't too far behind, finishing fourth in the same event and also breaking the previous school record. He scored 6,111 points to get a second team all-conference nod.

Namyst and Wells finished in eighth and ninth in the prelims for the 110m hurdles to qualify for Sunday's final with times of 15.38 and 15.17.

In addition,
Adeline Wilson set a new PR in the women's 800m run with a time of 2:33.85.

Day 3 which is finals only begins on Sunday with field events beginning at 9:30 a.m. and running events beginning at 11:00 a.m.
