RAPID CITY, S.D. --- South Dakota Mines Athletics looks to interact with former student-athletes, former coaches, and others who have been associated with South Dakota Mines and Hardrocker Athletics to bring their stories to the Rapid City community. With that goal in the forefront, the first Hardrocker for Life focuses on former South Dakota Mines head football coach and current Penn State assistant football coach Stacy Collins.
Coach Collins grew up in Oregon in a small town, and going to college and coaching for a small Oregon school was just a small step in his long football journey which has now encompassed a stop in Europe, two stops at South Dakota Mines, two stops at FCS (Football Championship Subdivision) schools, and two stops at FBS G5 (group of 5 conference) schools, before making it to his current stop as the special teams coordinator/outside linebacker/nickels coach.
Here is the full zoom interview with Coach Collins. The interview can also be found on the Hardrocker Podcast Network or any of your favorite podcast platforms.
