Hardrocker Track & Field Teams Post Second-Place Finishes at BH

SPEARFISH, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines track and field teams opened their season on Friday and Saturday, going to Spearfish to compete in the Yellow Jacket Holiday Open, hosted by Black Hills State University. The teams fared well, each taking home a second place finish.
 
South Dakota Mines won 3 events (Carson Mashlan, Travis Kleinsasser, Laine Mannes), and recorded 22 top-five finishes, and 1 new school record was set by Jaycie Stubbs in the women's shot put.
