ABERDEEN, S.D. --- The Hardrocker women's basketball team took on Northern State in Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon. South Dakota Mines struggled to get going and fell 87-53.
Northern State took 17-4 and 23-7 leads early in the first half and were able to keep control of the game throughout the first quarter, leading 27-10.
Early in the second quarter, the Hardrocker offenses started to get going with 10 points in the first four minutes, but at half, Northern State led 45-25.
The Northern State offense was rolling on all cylinders, putting up another 26 points in the third and finishing the game with an 87-53 victory.

Lily Peterson grabbed seven rebounds, while
Megan Alexander added six.
Up Next – South Dakota Mines looks to pick up their first win of the season on Tuesday as they take on Minot State at the King Center.
