Koethe Becomes Hardrockers First RMAC First Team Selection

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Thursday afternoon the RMAC selected its' All-Conference Volleyball team for the 2022 season.  
 
Jacey Koethe was recognized by being the first Hardrocker volleyball player to be named RMAC First Team All-Conference.  
 
Koethe, a middle from West Des Moines, Iowa has had a fantastic season, as she is leading the team and near the top of the conference leaderboard in several categories.  Koethe's ranks in the RMAC are as follows: Hitting percentage – 10th (.306), Kills per set – 4th (3.44), blocks per set – 6th (.98), points per set – 1st (4.34).
 
Paisley Gibson and Kiley Metzger earned honorable mention.
 
Metzger was one of the better setters in the RMAC, averaging 9.17 assists per set, the 6th best mark in the RMAC and being named RMAC setter of the week for the week of Oct. 10 - Oct. 16.
 
Gibson was one of just two freshmen in the conference to be honored. She came on strong midway through the season and finished with 2.85 kills per set on the year. The full teams are linked above.
