RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Volleyball and head coach
Lauren Prochazka have announced the 2026 schedule, highlighted by 14 home matches.
To begin the 2026 campaign, the Hardrockers will host the Hardrocker Volleyball Tournament in Rapid City. They will take on Lake Superior State on Aug. 27, followed by a doubleheader against Minnesota Crookston and Chadron State on Aug. 28. The Rockers will close out the tournament against Jamestown on Aug. 29.
In their second weekend, South Dakota Mines will travel to UCCS for the Mountain Lion Classic. From Sep. 4-5, the Hardrockers will face UCCS, Michigan Tech, St. Edward's and Midwestern State.
RMAC play will begin the following weekend, with the Rockers at home against Western Colorado and Fort Lewis. From Sep. 18-19, South Dakota Mines will go to CSU Pueblo and Colorado Christian.
South Dakota Mines will play in the RMAC Regional Pod at Chadron State on Sep. 24 and against Black Hills State at home on Sep. 25. That match against the Yellow Jackets starts homecoming weekend at South Dakota Mines.
South Dakota Mines will begin October at home versus UCCS and MSU Denver from Oct. 2-3. After a weekend at New Mexico Highlands and Adams State, the Hardrockers come back for a four-match homestand. They start with Regis and Chadron State on Oct. 16-17 for Hall of Fame weekend. The Rockers will host the RMAC Power Pod versus Regis and New Mexico Highlands on Oct. 22-24.
Three of the final four matches are on the road for the Hardrockers. On Oct. 27, they will go to Black Hills State and return home on Oct. 31 for a Halloween matchup with Colorado School of Mines. The Rockers will close out the regular season at Westminster and Colorado Mesa from Nov. 6-7.
The RMAC Tournament is slated for Nov. 10-14, followed by the NCAA DII South Central Regional from Nov. 19-21. The NCAA DII Elite Eight is in Kansas City, Mo., from Dec. 3-5.
