COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – South Dakota Mines Volleyball saw three players named to the All-RMAC, including
Lexi Glendenning named to the first team.
Lexi Glendenning, a freshman, was named to the All-RMAC First Team after a historic season. Glendenning finished the season first on the team and fourth in the RMAC with 3.52 kills per set, the highest of any freshmen. Defensively, Glendenning also added 107 digs and 32 blocks. On Sept. 26 against CSU Pueblo, she had 22 kills. Against Missouri-St. Louis on Sept. 12, she collected 21 kills, 15 digs and a .283 hitting percentage.
On the second team,
Hannah Benes highlighted for the Hardrockers. Benes had a phenomenal senior season where she was second in the RMAC with 4.94 digs per set. Her 464 digs was first in the conference. Benes added 29 aces from the service line. The senior put up 31 digs on Sept. 12 against Missouri-St. Louis. This season, Benes broke the career digs record with 1,657 over her four-year career.
Morgan Daugherty was awarded Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors. Daugherty finished the season with 2.89 kills per set, the ninth-best mark in the conference. She was third on the team with 38 total blocks. On Sept. 12 against Missouri-St. Louis, Daugherty totaled 22 kills, four blocks and two digs. She had a historic game against Colorado Mesa on Oct. 31 where she hit for .625 with 12 kills.
"I am so proud of our women for finding a way to get better throughout the entire season," head coach
Lauren Prochazka said. "Lexi, Hannah and Morgan were a huge part of that. Lexi is so deserving of this recognition of being one of the best freshmen and hitters in our conference. She was a consistent force all season, and I know she is only going to get better. Hannah maintains her reign as the best libero in our league, and I am so proud of the career she has had as a Hardrocker. Morgan deserves this moment and recognition more than anyone. She has worked so hard every day to improve, and she is the most selfless teammate. I am so excited she finally gets a moment that recognizes her and her talent."

Academic All-RMAC, All-Region and CSC Academic All-America awards will be announced later this year.
