RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines Soccer team was on the road at UCCS on Sunday afternoon.
In the first half UCCS scored twice to take a 2-0 lead and took that into the locker room at halftime.
Early in the second half, UCCS added another goal early before South Dakota Mines answered with a goal from
Alexander Crowson, assisted by
Hayden Jaramillo. For Jaramillo it was his fifth assist of the season, setting a new school record for assists in a season.
The loss brings the Hardrockers record to 1-9-2 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
The Hardrockers will be back at it on Sunday at UCCS, looking to end a four-game losing streak when they play at home Friday.
