Johannsen Earns Second RMAC Weekly Honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. --- On Monday afternoon, the RMAC selected and announced its' player of the week selections for football.
 
For the second time this season, Jayden Johannsen was named Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Johannsen had a great day through the air and on the ground as he completed 20-29 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns through the air and added 146 yards on the ground and three more touchdowns on 21 rushes.
 
Johannsen is having a fantastic year and is a potential Harlon Hill Award candidate as he is sitting third in Division II in passing yards per game and total passing yards (329.0, 1,974), first in total offense (389.7 yards per game) and is sixth in passing touchdowns (14). Among quarterbacks, Johannsen is 11th in rushing yards (364) and sixth in rushing touchdowns (6).
 
Johannsen and the Hardrockers are looking to move into a tie for first place in the RMAC as they take on Colorado School of Mines on Saturday. That game is scheduled for a noon kickoff.
