RAPID CITY, S.D. --- This Thursday evening, South Dakota Mines students and staff will be participating in Summer Nights from 6-9 p.m. at the intersection of St. Joseph and 7th Streets downtown. This week's concert features Brianna Helbling and is sponsored by the Rapid City Rush.
SD Mines will have several student organizations and athletic teams and at the event. Activities will be hosted by CAMP, Society of Physics Students, American Chemical Society, and the Mining and Mucking Team. Staff from the Office of Admissions, the Museum of Geology, and the Center for Alumni Relations & Advancement will also have booths downtown.
The Rapid City community is essential to what we at South Dakota Mines and Hardrocker athletics strive to do. President Rankin is happy Summer Nights and the Rush are welcoming our campus community to the event in 2021. "We're excited to bring our Hardrockers to Summer Nights this year as part of our Welcome Week activities. Stop down to visit our various booths and activities to meet many of our staff and students," says Rankin.
