RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines indoor track and field teams will travel 90 miles south to Chadron, NE for the Chadron Invite on Saturday, February 6. The event will get started at 10 am.
The Hardrockers are coming off a great showing up at the Dave Little Alumni event at Black Hills State University last weekend. The Rockers had 14 personal records set and a number of top 5 finishes.
Spectators will be allowed to attend the event on Saturday.
Looking at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference performance list,
Erica Keeble is ranked first in the women's long jump with a provisional mark of 3.78 meters; Johnathan Hopkins ranks first in the men's heptathlon with 4,436 points as well as ranked sixth in the pole vault after clearing a height of 4.55 meter; and
Taegen Wells is currently fourth place in the men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.64 seconds.
