1. This series is relatively new, with the first matchup taking place in 2016. The Hardrockers hold a 3-1 lead in the series. South Dakota Mines was victorious in the most recent matchup, winning 8-7 on Oct. 16, 2019.
2. The Hardrocker ground game is 4th best in the RMAC averaging 181.1 yards per game
3. The Hardrocker offense averages over 30 points a game. Third down conversions have led to offensive success, with the team converting at a rate of 43.8%, 2nd best in the RMAC.
4. Redzone success is another factor converting 31 of their 43 trips for points. 26 of the Hardrocker redzone trips have resulted in 6 points.
5. The win over Black Hills State last weekend was the Hardrockers first since 2004, and the first back-to-back wins in the series since 2016-17. Now, South Dakota Mines looks to take it another step further, clinching a winning season for the first time since 2015.
