Eleven Volleyball Players Named to Honor Roll
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Monday afternoon, the RMAC selected its RMAC All-Academic Volleyball team.
The Hardrockers were represented with 11 student-athletes as Honor Roll selections.
Shyann Bastian,
Addie Stanley,
Dana Thomson,
Emma Murphy,
Lily Bartling,
Kassie Luce,
Kristin Luce,
Chelsea Brewster,
Anna Thomas,
Jacey Koethe, and
Victoria Zagorski were all selected to the RMAC Honor Roll.
Bastian is a senior majoring in chemical engineering with a 3.804 GPA. She has made a difference on the court this season as well. On the season she has 318 assists, to go along with 95 kills and 182 digs.
Stanley playing as the libero has 278 digs, meanwhile, in the classroom she has maintained a 3.443 GPA as a Business Management in Technology major.
Thomson, despite being unable to be on the floor the last two seasons, is a computer science major with a GPA of 3.73.
Murphy, a Spearfish native has a GPA of 3.876 in health sciences. On the season she has played in 7 sets, recording 2 assists and 4 digs.
Bartling has been a contributor on the court outside of her work in the classroom. The Sioux Falls native has 132 kills, 76 digs, and 48 blocks. As a health sciences major, she has a 3.619 GPA.
Kassie Luce has recorded a GPA of 3.430 with a major in business management in technology. On the court, she has played sparingly, recording 32 digs and 61 assists in 17 sets played across 7 matches.
Kristin Luce has a GPA of 3.5, majoring in business management in technology.
Brewster, as a South Dakota native from Mitchell, has a 3.909 GPA in health sciences.
Thomas, who recently recovered and began contributing on the court, has a 3.952 GPA as an applied biological sciences major.
Koethe is also majoring in health sciences. She has a 3.6 GPA in addition to starting every match this season and leading the team with 177 kills and 72 blocks.
Last, but not least Zagorski is carrying a 3.531 GPA as a biomedical engineering major.
