GOLDEN, Colo. --- The men's and women's Cross-Country teams are heading into the Conference Championships this weekend, as they head to Golden.
Both teams are looking to get back to their early season form and end the season strong, looking to perform better than they did the last time out.

In Hays, the Women finished 11
th as a team and were led by
Abigaile Saline and
Ryley Darnell. Each of these women finished in the top 65 with Saline recording a time of 19:25.3, and Darnell finishing with a time of 19:36.1.

The men finished 10
th as a team and were led by
Timothy Dunham, recording a top-30 finish, and running the fastest time a Hardrocker has ever run on the course, 25:05.9, landing in 29
th place.
Brett Flerchinger joined him in the top 40, notching a 38
th place finish with a time of 25:06.4.

The conference championships will feature similar competition to what was seen in Fort Hays, so the preparation is there, and the Hardrockers hope to improve upon what they did in Hays.
