SOUTH JORDAN, Utah --- The South Dakota Mines women's golf team ended their fall season at the Wasatch Invitational in South Jordan, UT on Friday and Saturday.

The Hardrockers had two teams in the tournament with the A team finishing 12
th, while the B team placed 13
th out of the 14-team field. The Hardrockers struggled to handle the blustery weather as they played through wind, rain, cold, and hail.

The A team shot 336 and 341 for a team total of 677. The B team finished 384 and 380 for a 764 total. The A team was led by
Annika Schooler (T53) and
Mya Maxwell (T53) each shooting a 169 for the two rounds.
Abby Magee (T57) shot 171 (87-84);
Rianna Garland (T59, 86-87-173); and
Jessalyn Shipp (T62 93-84-177).
Lora Ortega paced the B squad with a 178 (92-86), followed by
Portia Lenczowski (70th, 97-91-184). Rounding out the team was
Julia Sabetti (71st 95-95-190) and Lexa Rauert (75th 104-108-212).
Colorado Christian University won the event with a total score of 606. Brady Turnquist from Biola University was the medal winner with a two-day 146 (+2) total.

Magee and Rauert played in their final tournament for the Hardrockers. Both will graduate in December. Magee with an Industrial Engineering degree and Rauert with an Applied Biological Science degree.
The Rockers will now head into the offseason preparing for the spring portion of their season which will start in March and conclude at the RMAC Championship in April.
