SPEARFISH, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines women's golf squad is leading the team standings Monday after the first round of the Black Hills State / South Dakota Mines Fall Invitational at the Spearfish Canyon Country Club in Spearfish, South Dakota.
The Hardrockers lead Chadron State by four strokes carding 353 to the Eagles' 357. The Yellow Jackets are a distant third with 373 strokes.
Individually, South Dakota Mines freshman
Annika Schooler finds herself on the top of the leaderboard with an 18-hole score of 80, three-strokes ahead of Chadron State's Kayla Elder in second place with an 83 and fellow Eagle Kenzey Kanno is third after posting an 84.

Jessalyn Shipp is currently in sixth place carding an 87,
Abby Magee has a share of ninth place with teammate
Rianna Garland, both registering 93's,
Larissa Pawlowski holds 15
th place with a 95,
Mya Maxwell is tied for 16
th position after putting up a 95,
Ava Jenkins carded a 103 for 20
th place, and
Alexandra Rauert has a 109 for 22
nd place.
The tournament will conclude Tuesday afternoon with another 18-hole round starting at 9 a.m. at Spearfish Canyon Country Club.
