THORTON, Colo. ---- The South Dakota Mines women's golf team kicked off the 2020 fall season at the Todd Creek Golf Course during the Colorado Christian Swan Memorial Invitational Monday where the Hardrockers are currently in seventh place in the team standings.

The 'Rockers tallied a team score of 358 and are tied with Black Hills State. Westminster College is currently in first place with 301 strokes, UCCS is second with 306 and Colorado Mesa is currently in third place with 309 strokes.

Cailyn Clayton of Westminster College and Colorado Mesa's Crystle Querol are tied for first place on the leaderboard, each carding scores of 73.

Hardrocker Larissa Pawlowski brought in the lowest score for South Dakota Mines on Monday with an 84 to put her in 23^rd place after the first round. Rianna Garland and Annika Schooler took a share of 43^rd place each posting 90's, while Abby Magee and Jessalyn Shipp tied for 52^nd place with 94 strokes each.

The 'Rockers will conclude the tournament Tuesday with a final round at Todd Creek Golf Course.
