Battle For The Banner Esports Competition

Hardrockers Esports has joined the Battle for the Banner sponsored by Lenovo Esports and ggLeap, gaming platform for SD Mines.  Battle for the Banner is an 8 week event open to all current students across the country at home or within our Esports Facility consisting of performances in PC games: Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, League of Legends, PUBG, Rocket League, and Valorant. There is $50k in prizes available both for students and campuses for the winners.

As of October 7th, the Hardrockers sit at the top of table with 3,058 points; almost 800 points ahead of 2nd place. Four players sit in the top 10 for League of Legends, three in the top 10 of Rocket League, first and second place in Apex Legends, first place in Call of Duty: Warzone, two players in the top 10 for Valorant, and one in the top 5 of PUBG. Students interested must already have a ggLeap account to download the Home client. They can stop by the Esports Facility to create one or complete the following ggLeap registration created to help get students registered.
