COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- South Dakota Mines junior running back Ahmad Lewis was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week announced by the league office on Tuesday in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Lewis had an outstanding first game of the season this past Saturday finishing the game with 176 yards on 26 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns. He also hauled in five receptions for 60 receiving yards in the 34-17 victory over Black Hills State at O'Harra Stadium in Rapid City, South Dakota.
