RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota School of Mines men's cross country team will be back in action this weekend as the Hardrockers will travel to Wayne, Nebraska, for the Wayne State Wildcat Classic Friday afternoon. The men's event is slated to start at 4:45 p.m.
Hardrocker head coach
Steve Johnson said he is taking a lot of his underclassmen to compete and it will give him a chance to evaluate how they are progressing on the season as individuals as well as in a team element.
Hardrockers that will be racing Friday include:
Grant Bauer,
Mark Boden,
Monty Christo, III,
Sam Elliott,
Andrew Ferris,
Brett Flerchinger,
Lukas Lehmpuhl and
Isaac Orozco.
The meet is also being billed as the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preview Meet, so there should be a healthy dose of good competition for the Hardrockers to race against.
