The South Dakota School of Mines football program announced the addition of 28 signees to the 2019 football roster announced by the Hardrocker football coaching staff Wednesday morning on a livestream broadcast in the Christensen Hall of Fame Room at the King Center in Rapid City during the NCAA's National Signing Day.
After losing almost 20 seniors from the past season, the Hardrocker coaches feel they have added some quality scholar athletes as they begin the 2019 campaign.
"This is a solid class of signees on 'NSD19'. We do believe that several of these guys will have the chance to make an impact early in their career at SD Mines," said Hardrocker football head coach
Zach Tinker. "Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference recruiting is very competitive and I'm pleased that we continue to make good connections with Colorado players and families that see the incredible value of investing with us at SD Mines and joining the Hardrocker Family.
Tinker went on to say, "Coach (Bo) Montgomery did a great job in helping produce a very strong class and keeping our staff disciplined through the process right up through the final weekend. We look forward to the start of spring ball and continuing the development of our 'Blue Collar - Gold Standard' culture in Hardrocker Football."
