Taylor Molstad was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of The Week announced Monday by the league office in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Molstad, a 5-foot-10-inch guard for the Lady Hardrockers had an outstanding weekend helping her team to a split in RMAC action this past weekend.
The Interdisciplinary Sciences major registered 18 points Friday night in a tough loss to CSU-Pueblo (56-39), shooting 67 percent from the field and added four assists while logging all 40 minutes.
On Saturday Molstad led an offensive assault with season-high 23 points in a win over New Mexico Highlands University, 73-35. She hit 5-9 from behind the arch and was 8-13 overall from the field to shoot 62 percent. She added four assists all while playing 36 minutes. She was also a perfect 4-4 on free throws for the weekend.

Ryan Larsen. "Taylor's work ethic is being recognized after a great offensive weekend. A big credit goes to her teammates for finding her and getting her the ball where she could be successful."
On the season, Molstad is averaging 11.8 points per game to lead the 'Rockers in scoring has posted 555 minutes played, and is shooting 41 percent from the field, including 37 percent from three-point range.
