Biography

Honors & Accomplishments:
  • 2023 Harlon Hill Nominee for best Division II football player.
  • Became just the fourth player to Earn Division II All-America honors, the first to Earn Associated Press honors, being named AP All-America Second Team and Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention.
  • Became South Dakota Mines first ever D2CCA All-Super Region 4 First Team honoree following the 2023 season.
  • RMAC First Team All-Conference Selection (2023). 
2023 (Junior):
  • Set the new single-season school record with 15 receiving touchdowns. The 15 touchdowns ranked sixth in the nation at the Division II level.
  • Set new school record with 16 receptions in a game against Colorado School of Mines (10/14).
  • 8.4 receptions per game and 92 catches ranked third in the country.
  • Those receptions went for a total of 1,184 receiving yards, seventh in Division II. 
  • As a punt returner, he averaged 9.7 yards per return, 18th in the nation.
Prior to South Dakota Mines:
  • Spent the first three years of his college career at Northern State University.
  • He played in all 11 games in 2022 as a sophomore, and broke out with 40 receptions for 642 yards and 7 touchdowns.
  • He played in ten games, starting three in 2021, after the 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19.
  • He caught 11 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns in 2021.
  • Transferred to South Dakota Mines following his third year at Northern State.
Prep:
  • Attended Oconee County High School.
  • Was a three-year starter and team captain at Oconee.
  • In his senior year (2019), he recorded 700 yards, averaging 14 yards per reception and 12 touchdowns.
  • After his senior season, he earned Region 8AAAA Offensive Player of the Year.
  • Was named a GACA all-state team member, an Athens Banner Herell first team honoree, and the Athens Banner Herion Comeback Player of the Year.
