RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Soccer continues their three-game homestand this weekend against UCCS on Thursday and #11 CSU Pueblo on Sunday.
Series History
Against UCCS, the Hardrockers are 0-12 all-time dating back to 2015. In their matchup last season, South Dakota Mines fell 0-5 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Hardrockers are 0-9 all-time against CSU Pueblo. In their game back on Nov. 3, 2024, the ThunderWolves won 7-0 at Art and Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
About the Mountain Lions
UCCS if 4-3-3 overall and 2-0 in the RMAC so far this season. They are on a three-game winning streak with their last loss back on Sept. 25 against #5 Fort Lewis. Last weekend, they took down Colorado Mesa 2-1 and Westminster 3-2 at Mountain Lion Stadium.
Miles Seminario and Hugo Sjӧberg earned the RMAC Offensive and Goalkeeper Player of the Week awards this week. Seminario and Nick Walker both lead the Mountain Lions with four goals each. Sjӧberg has a 1.30 goals against average and a .639 save percentage. UCCS was picked to win the RMAC in the RMAC Preseason Coaches poll.
About the ThunderWolves
#11 CSU Pueblo is the last undefeated team in the RMAC with a 4-0-6 overall record and 0-0-2 RMAC clip. After taking down #5 Fort Lewis on Sept. 28, CSU Pueblo drew 1-1 with Westminster and 3-3 versus Colorado Mesa last weekend.
So Nagano leads the team with four goals in 10 games played. Three other players have three goals for the ThunderWolves. Goalkeeper Esteban Gonzalez has a 0.94 goals against average and a .789 save percentage in nine games played this season. After winning the RMAC and making a run to the NCAA Semifinals in 2024, CSU Pueblo was picked third in the RMAC Preseason Poll.
About the Hardrockers
Through nine contests, South Dakota Mines is 5-2-2 overall and 0-2 in the RMAC. After being undefeated in their first seven games, the Hardrockers fell at Colorado School of Mines and against Regis over the weekend.
Nickolas North scored two goals for the Hardrockers between those games.
North leads the team and the RMAC with seven goals this season. He also has two assists with 16 shots and 10 shots on goal.

Abdo Salem Abdullah has allowed 14 goals this season with 24 saves so far. The Hardrockers are looking for their first RMAC win since Oct. 4, 2024 against Westminster. With their one win in RMAC play last season, the Hardrockers were tabbed to finish in 10
th in the conference this season.
