OFFENSIVE IMPROVEMENT
South Dakota Mines appears to have improved on the offensive side after their first four contests, scoring in all but one matchup.
Shots, shots on goal and goals are all up from where they were at this time in 2023.

ONE AWAY
Hayden Jaramillo is one assist shy of sitting solo atop the all-time career leaderboard at South Dakota Mines with 10. Currently, he sits at nine with Andreas Skau. Jaramillo's role has shifted a bit into more of an attacker as he is leading the team in shots and shot-on-goal percentage (min. 4 shots). His average of over one shot on goal per game is in the top 10 in the RMAC.

REMARKABLE ROQUE
Jayden Roque has continued to impress as an attacker after scoring last year, he is leading the team in points and has a 100% shot-on-goal percentage along with a goal and an assist this year.

SCOUTING COLORADO CHRISTIAN
CCU has had a decent start to the season, losing just one of their first six matches, however, they drew in four so their current record stands at 1-1-4 with their first win coming last time out against Saint Martin's.

They are in the middle of the pack as a team in scoring goals and allowing goals as they have scored seven and allowed seven.

Lucca Casci has made a big jump as a senior and is ninth in the RMAC in shots on goal, tied for the team lead with two goals and has an assist as well.

Another dangerous player is Lucas Peruzo who also has two goals and an assist.
In goal, Jai Gillespie has started in five of six games and is allowing just one goal per game with a save percentage of .688.

SCOUTING ADAMS STATE
Adams State has played just four games, winning one against Oklahoma Panhandle State University with their losses coming to Eastern New Mexico, Lubbock Christian and Sul Ross State.

Goal scoring has been a weakness for the Grizzlies as they have scored just two goals so far this season and been shutout three times.

They have allowed seven goals on the defensive side to sit in the middle of the pack.
Mario Alejo and Tim Mietenkorte are their two goal scorers while Leonardo Villacorta has their lone assist.

JP Fernandez has been their only goalkeeper to see minutes and has eight saves, is allowing two goals per game and has a save percentage of .500.

LOOKING AHEAD
Following this week, the Hardrockers are at home for two in a row as they take on Westminster for senior day on Oct. 4 and Colorado Mesa on Oct. 6 both at Dakota Fields.
