RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Mines Hardrockers played a grueling and tough match against Adams State on the road, looking to avenge the earlier loss this season.
Despite not completely getting the win back, the Hardrockers played a strong 90 minutes, coming back home with a result and through four games are sitting in an RMAC playoff position for the first time in school history.
South Dakota Mines outshot Adams State in the game, 13-9 but three were on goal. The Hardrockers played well especially in the second half, earning plenty of opportunities, but were unable to take advantage.
Despite that, the Hardrockers were back to their strength on the defensive end, also allowing just three shots on goal and
Daniel Freitas posted his first clean sheet of the season and second of his career.
Hayden Jaramillo continues to be a threat as he recorded two shots on goal in his 78 minutes of action.

South Dakota Mines has a pair of games in the friendly confines of Dakota Fields this week as they take on MSU Denver and Colorado School of Mines on Thursday and Sunday with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
