Kamryn Scully Named RMAC Field Athlete of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. --- On Tuesday afternoon, the RMAC selected its athletes of the week for track and field.

After taking first-place finishes in two events, Kamryn Scully was named the RMAC Field Athlete of the Week.

At the Myrle Hanson Open, hosted by Black Hills State University, Scully won the pole vault event, jumping 3.25m, and was also a part of the winning 4x400 relay team who combined for a 4:34.66 time with Scully running the first leg.

Scully becomes the first South Dakota Mines track & field athlete to receive this honor since Erica Keeble in 2020, and only the second athlete from South Dakota Mines to earn the honor. Keeble earned the honor five times in her career.

It has been a great start to the season for Scully as she has now won three individual titles, including the pole vault at the Wyoming Power Meet and the two titles at the Myrle Hanson Open.
