FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Kyante Christian and
Gavin Chaddock leading the defense. Last year, those two combined for 15 sacks.
2. Jayden Johannsen and
Spencer Zur return at quarterback and could both see time in the season opener. Zur, a veteran with plenty of game experience including a handful of starts returns for his sixth year with the program, meanwhile,
Jayden Johannsen who started all 11 games in 2021 also returns.
3. The Hardrockers bring back plenty of experience overall with just five true freshmen represented on the initial two-deep and 46 of 56 individuals being at least sophomores.
4. 11 student-athletes who were represented as All-RMAC selections also return to the roster.
5. The Hardrockers were selected sixth in the RMAC preseason poll and are looking to prove themselves.
