BILLINGS, Mont. --- The South Dakota Mines track and field teams continued their season on Saturday with a condensed 15-event meet at MSU Billings' Yellowjacket Open.

The Hardrockers continued their string of good performances, with both teams recording top-4 finishes. The men finished third, with 50 points, meanwhile, the women finished 4th with 43 points.

South Dakota Mines won 1 event, recorded 13 top-5 finishes, set 14 personal records, and 4 Hardrocker top-10 marks

The first-place finish was recorded by
Alyssa Franke who took first in Women's 5000m Run, running a time of 19:49.21. That time was a PR and moved her into 5th on the Hardrocker top-10 board.

Up next for the South Dakota Mines Track and Field teams is the Bauer Invite hosted on the campus of South Dakota Mines. That event will take place on Friday, April 8 (Hammer Throw), and Saturday, April 9.
