Women's Basketball Looks To Continue Winning Ways on Road
 
RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The Hardrocker Women's Basketball team heads to the road for a pair this weekend against Westminster on Thursday and Colorado Mesa on Saturday.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
1. South Dakota Mines started fast in both of the last two games, getting out to large leads, defeating New Mexico Highlands comfortable after a great fourth quarter, and holding on late against Colorado Springs.
2. South Dakota Mines has been one of the better three-point shooting teams in the RMAC all year, now sitting in 3rd in the league, shooting 32% as a team and second in makes with 151.
3. Free throw percentage has been another season-long strength, as the Hardrockers hit 74% from the charity stripe to sit in 3rd in the RMAC.
4. Against New Mexico Highlands, the Hardrockers used a 27-15 4th quarter to seal the victory after a battle through three quarters.
5. In the Colorado Springs contest, it was the opposite as the Hardrockers got out to an early 24-11 lead prior to Colorado Springs battling back and the Hardrockers having to hold them off for the victory.
