COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. --- On Monday afternoon, the RMAC selected and announced its' player of the week selections for volleyball.
For the first time since 10/28/19 and the second time in its history, South Dakota Mines had a player selected as RMAC Player of the Week with
Jacey Koethe earning the distinction as offensive player of the week.
Koethe had a great performance against Colorado Christian to help the Hardrockers get back into the win column, setting a new career high with 23 kills, adding three aces and five blocks. On Friday night, despite the Hardrocker loss Koethe posted 10 kills with a hitting percentage of .643.
Overall, Koethe is near the top of the RMAC in hitting percentage (.300, 11th), kills (3.45/set, 3rd), blocks (.94/set, 10th), and points (4.27/set, 2nd).
