Hardrocker Soccer Scores Late Tying Goal to Earn Draw

ALAMOSA, Colo. --- The South Dakota Mines soccer team earned a draw after a long trip to Alamosa Friday afternoon.

Adams State struck first with a goal in the 26th minute and they would keep the lead into the half.

In the second half, the Hardrockers would push but were unable to get much going until the late stages. With about 10 minutes left to go in the game, the Hardrockers would pick up the pressure and get a couple of shots, but it wasn't until under a minute left that the Hardrockers earned a corner, bringing the goalkeeper up. George Martinez took a corner and the ball bounced around a bit, finding the foot of Gage Espanet who buried it in the back of the net with 2 seconds left to pick up the draw for South Dakota Mines.

The Hardrockers have their season finale Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
