RAPID CITY, S.D. -- South Dakota Mines battled Colorado School of Mines and was unable to keep up, falling to 4-3 on the year, with a 3-2 record in the RMAC
How It Happened – The Orediggers struck early and often, scoing on a 78-yard touchdown pass to open the contest. They would take a 14-0 lead on John Matocha's second touchdown pass. Before the end of the quarter,
Jayden Johannsen connected with Eastman to trim the defeicit to 14-7, before the Oredigger offense connected on another big play.
The Hardrockers opened the scoring in the second quarter midway through on a connection from Johannsen to
Henry Dryden. The following possession, the Hardrockers would force a fumble, but were unable to capitalize. After that, Colorado School of Mines would score 27 unanswered, until Johannsen ran it in from 16-yards with 5:16 remaining to get the Hardrockers back on the board, but they would fall 48-20.

Jeremiah Bridges had 10 receptions for 128 yards…
Jarrett Meyer recorded a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
