FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. South Dakota Mines has started slow in each of the last two games, before picking it up in the second half, defeating Black Hills State 40-28 and Chadron State 45-41 in the second half of those games.
2. South Dakota Mines has been one of the better three-point shooting teams in the RMAC all year, now sitting in 3rd in the league, shooting 32.1% as a team and second in makes with 135.
3. Free throw percentage has been another season-long strength, as the Hardrockers hit 73.1% from the charity stripe to sit in 3rd in the RMAC.
4. The Hardrockers have also done a good job in protecting the rim as they block 3.22 shots per game.
5. Against Black Hills State, the Hardrockers were outscored 41-15, before playing much better in the second half. It was a similar story against Chadron State as the Hardrockers trailed by 11 at half, before outscoring the Eagles in the second half.
